Wraptor: core business highlighted
At Wraptor, cars get new exteriors, and the company itself was also in need of a new lease on life.
So they moved into new premises in Nootdorp and asked architect Maud van Hees of interARC to translate the company’s identity into the interior.
The result? A design that beautifully highlights the company’s industrial core business, while the reception areas exude an air of understated luxury. The company floor – where the cars are “packed” – was given a tough industrial look. With light shades of gray that put the work in the spotlight. The use of color and materialization of the workshop contrast with the representative areas, where customers are received and the offices are located. The representative areas have a black and stylish “wrap,” a decoration that radiates sophistication and homeliness.
Lighting was also played with to accentuate the contrast between the spaces. Direct light in the workshop and softer light (L14) in the stylish ceilings in the representative rooms.
