Project Residential Center s’Heeren Loo Groningen: Smart LED Lighting
We are proud of the successful realization of an advanced lighting project for residential center s’Heeren Loo in Groningen. This project aimed to increase comfort and efficiency by implementing a smart lighting system.
The Challenge
The request was to create a lighting solution that would not only drastically reduce energy consumption, but also improve the living environment for residents and give managers valuable insight into the use of spaces. The solution had to be flexible, intelligent and future-proof.
Our solution
To achieve these goals, we designed and installed an integrated system consisting of high-quality and smart components.
Key points of the project:
- LED Light Lines: We installed 234 meters of our L18 LED light lines, which provide even and bright lighting throughout the hallways and common areas.
- Downlights: 430 smart downlights were installed to provide functional and atmospheric lighting of specific areas.
- Intelligent Control: The entire system is controlled by the powerful Allbee Zigbee platform. To maximize intelligence, 60 smart Zigbee sensors and Zigbee drivers are integrated. These sensors detect presence and automatically adjust the lighting, ensuring there are never unnecessary lights on.

The implementation of this smart LED lighting system has resulted in measurable and significant benefits for residential center s’Heeren Loo.
