For the new entrance and meeting place of Heineken International BV on Stadhouderskade in Amsterdam, we have created unique, custom-made lighting solutions. The highlight is an elegant, curved light line stretching an impressive 85 meters, winding across the entire ground floor. This light line not only provides functional lighting but, thanks to the use of RGBW LEDs, can also create a warm and atmospheric ambiance. <\/p>\n\n
To make this possible, we designed and extruded a completely new aluminum profile within just a few weeks. An additional challenge was the rough construction ceiling, which was treated with acoustic material. As a result, the mounting points for the light line had to be precisely drilled more than a month before installation. <\/p>\n\n
The entire process was quite a challenge, but thanks to the excellent collaboration between our design team, the installer, and the client, we achieved a stunning end result.<\/p>\n\n
In addition to the striking light line, we also integrated other lighting solutions that contribute to the unique character of the space. Special accent lights were installed to highlight specific architectural elements, such as the distinctive pillars and large glass walls. This combination of lighting not only creates a functional work and meeting environment but also enhances the experience for visitors and employees. <\/p>\n\n
Moreover, great attention was given to energy efficiency and sustainability. All implemented lighting solutions utilize high-quality LED technology, significantly reducing energy consumption and extending the lifespan of the fixtures. This design aligns seamlessly with the sustainability goals of Heineken International BV. <\/p>\n\n
In addition to the technical innovations, aesthetics were also a key focus in the design. The lighting is seamlessly integrated into the interior, creating a harmonious look that enhances the modern feel of the space. Every detail was carefully considered, from the light temperature to the placement of the fixtures, ensuring that the lighting perfectly complements the architecture and the functionality of the space. <\/p>\n\n
Additionally, a dynamic DALI lighting system was implemented by installer Heijmans, offering flexibility to adapt to various occasions and needs. From informal gatherings to professional presentations, the lighting can be easily adjusted to match the desired ambiance and function. This not only adds practical value to the space but also enhances the innovative character of the new entrance and meeting area. <\/p>\n\n
